1. Use of Site and Services
NotaTech Notary Services provides mobile notary public services within authorized jurisdictions in North Carolina. We operate strictly in compliance with NC General Statutes Chapter 10B. We are not attorneys and do not offer legal advice or document preparation services.
2. Booking, Payments, and Privacy
By booking an appointment, you agree to our statutory pricing ($10.00 per notarial act) and our transparent mobile travel rules. Travel is free within a 5-mile radius of our Sanford base. Any mileage outside this 5-mile boundary is subject to travel fees calculated at the federal standard business mileage rate of 72.5 cents per mile (round trip), which must be agreed upon prior to dispatch.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms.
By providing your mobile number and explicitly opting in to receive communications from NotaTech Notary Services via our appointment forms, you consent to receive text messages regarding your mobile bookings.

Program Description: Text messages are used strictly for transactional or informational purposes, including appointment reminders, arrival notifications, and scheduling logistics.

Direct Consent: Your opt-in consent is given directly and uniquely to NotaTech Notary Services. Mobile data, opt-in data, and consent details are completely isolated and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Opt-Out (STOP): You can cancel and opt out of text communications at any time. Reply STOP to any text message you receive. After doing so, you will receive a one-time automated text confirming you have been unsubscribed.

Support (HELP): If you need assistance, reply HELP to our text message number, or contact us directly at notatechbiz@gmail.com.
3. Cancellation and Expectations
We respect your time and ask for the same in return. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled mobile appointment for a full refund. For online bookings, rescheduling is permitted with appropriate notice. Failure to appear for a scheduled mobile appointment may result in a travel fee deduction from your refund.
4. No Legal Advice Disclaimer
A Notary Public is not an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina. NotaTech | Notary Services is prohibited from providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, or accepting fees for legal consultations. Clients are responsible for understanding the contents and legal implications of the documents they present for notarization.
5. Limitation of Liability
NotaTech | Notary Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the notarization process or the refusal to notarize a document that does not meet legal requirements. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific notary service provided.
6. Governing Law
These terms and all services provided by NotaTech | Notary Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Lee County, NC.
